Streptokinase Criteria: Myocardial Infarction
1. ST Elevation 1 mm or more in 2 or more contiguous leads
2. New Left Bundle Branch Block obscuring ST segments
3. Presumed new Left Bundle Branch Block
Management protocol
Time from Chest Pain onset <12 hours
1. Start MI Adjunctive Therapy, do not delay repurfusion
2. Immediate Reperfusion Strategy
1. Angioplasty with cardiothoracic back-up (preferred) Goal within 90 minutes of ED arrival
2. Thrombolytic therapy (if Angioplasty not available) Goal within 30 minutes of ED arrival

1. Dilute two 750,000-unit vials of streptokinase with 5 ml of 5% dextrose in water.
2. Gently swirl to dissolve.
3. Add this dose of 1.5 million units to 150 mL of 5% dextrose in water.
